Accident investigation is something nobody wants to do and first of all we strive to prevent them from re-occurring. If worst happens, it is very important to find the real root cause, prevent it from occurring again and pass new information to all parties involved. We dig into deep end – metal structural analysis, dynamic modelling, laboratory tests, review of sensor data and field studies. Our Clients are normally insurance companies or wind farm owners, but often we cooperate with turbine manufacturers. Data is managed as confidential. Our experience from installation and operations helps to look to unusual root causes as well.
